Kimetha Geiser

Project Researcher at SETI Institute

Kimetha Geiser is a Project Researcher at the SETI Institute, involved in civilian research projects such as Solar Storm Watch, Planet Hunter, Kepler Project, Milky Way Project, and Sun Spotter since January 2009. Previously, Kimetha held a position as a Research Scientist at the University of Texas Department of Agriculture Research Station, focusing on parasites affecting grasses and weeds from June 2005 to January 2006. Additional experience includes work at the Jet Propulsion Lab in technological transfer for science and space research, sales at Kahuku Aquacultural Farm, and as a Missile Facilities Specialist in the United States Air Force. Educational qualifications include an ongoing Associate of Arts in History from Austin Community College, and a Bachelor's Degree in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography and Zoology from Humboldt State University.
