Amy Butler

Amy Butler is an accomplished professional in IT security and risk management, currently serving as the IT Security and Risk Manager at Seyfarth Shaw LLP since June 2021. Previously, Amy held the position of Chief Information Security Officer at Hogan Lovells from November 2015 to June 2021, where responsibilities included global oversight of security, IT risk, and privacy. From June 2005 to November 2015, Amy was the AVP of Information Security and Compliance at George Washington University, fulfilling a CISO equivalent role and overseeing all security and compliance functions. Amy holds an MBA and an MA from The George Washington University and is currently pursuing Chinese language studies at Peking University.
