Sofian Mustafa has extensive work experience in various senior leadership roles, primarily in operations and business transformation. They started their career at Siemens as an Industrial Engineer and later became a Continuous Improvement Leader. Sofian then worked at General Electric as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and later as a Master Black Belt. They then joined Viasystems as a Corporate Development Manager before moving to CIBC as a Senior Director of Process Engineering. At D+H, Sofian held several positions, including Senior Director of Business Services, Vice President of Global Business Services, and Global Head of the Agile Center of Excellence. Currently, Sofian is working at SGS & Co as a Senior Vice President, overseeing operations in various regions. They have held several roles at SGS & Co, responsible for operations, business transformation, and global delivery.
Sofian Mustafa completed an Executive Business Program (ACE) at Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Ryerson University from 1986 to 1990. Sofian also has multiple additional certifications in various fields, including management, mechanical engineering, human resource management, and lean six sigma, among others.
