Dr Kambewe is a Tanzanian national and a trained medical doctor. He has studied in Tanzania, South Africa and also Australia completing his Masters in Science in Occupational Health & Safety at the University of Newcastle, Australia. Dr Kambewe has worked in Tanzania since 1996 as a medical doctor for various companies and agencies including International SOS and African Barrick Gold as Superintendent in Occupational Health & Safety. Dr Kambewe currently leads the role of Group Sustainability, Occupational Health and Community Relations Manager for the New Luika Gold Mine.
