Melissa Kwan

Melissa Kwan, MPH, CPH, has extensive experience in healthcare project coordination and analysis, currently serving as the Health Services Data Management Project Coordinator at Sharp HealthCare since October 2011. In this role, Melissa manages activities for the Hierarchical Condition Categories Program and oversees data extraction, analysis, and report generation using IBM Cognos Software. Additionally, responsibilities include monitoring the Meaningful Use project and ensuring compliance with the Physician Quality Reporting System requirements. Previously, Melissa held positions within Sharp Health Plan as a Senior Customer Care Specialist and at Kaiser Permanente as a Service Quality Department Intern. Early career experience includes an internship at the Aids Services Foundation. Melissa holds a Master of Public Health in Health Management and Policy from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Ecology and Public Health Policy from UC Irvine.
