Deborah Daly (GAICD) has had a diverse and extensive work experience. In 2023, they served as the Interim Head of Business Growth at Deborah Mentors, where they focused on delivering a program of Business Growth and connecting with organizations to offer them an alternative option to give back.
From 2010 onwards, Deborah worked at Impetus - Advisory, Consultancy, and Interim Executive Practice as a Director and Principal Consultant. In this role, they were responsible for designing, leading, and executing initiatives on behalf of clients. Deborah also worked at Baxter International Inc. from 2012 to 2015 as the Commercial/Sales Excellence Manager and Coach. Deborah successfully led project recovery and re-designed the Salesforce platform.
Between 2005 and 2011, Deborah worked at Shell Company of Australia as the Sales Development Manager, Project Lead, and Coach. Deborah designed and managed strategic initiatives, improved organizational capabilities and sales effectiveness, and developed individuals, teams, and executive leaders through competency assessments and coaching techniques.
From 2004 to 2005, Deborah served as the Strategic Business Projects Manager, Fresh Food / Cold Chain, and National Call Centre Manager at 7-Eleven Stores Pty Ltd. Deborah'sachievements included leading supply chain and fresh food programs, marketing project deliveries, and managing a national support center.
Deborah's work experience also includes a role as Programme Lead at Amcor Australasia and Amcor Cartons Divisional Office from 1998 to 2003. Deborah was responsible for supply chain integration, consulting to internal and customer B2B processes, leading cross-functional teams, identifying commercial opportunities, and negotiating business trading terms.

Deborah Daly (GAICD) has an extensive education history. Deborah graduated from the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2012, where they completed the Directors Course (GAICD). Prior to that, they obtained an MBA from Monash University between 2005 and 2008, focusing on Strategy and Strategic Finance and Business Planning. Deborah also holds a B Bus degree from Victoria University, which they completed from 1991 to 1994, specializing in Business, Marketing, and HR. Deborah's undergraduate education includes a BA degree from the University of Melbourne from 1988 to 1990, where they studied Economics and Psychology. Additionally, they pursued studies in Supply Chain Management at APICS in 2003.
Deborah Daly has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Deborah became an Accredited Coach and Trainer in Service Leader Coaching and Sales Leader Coaching from FranklinCovey in 2018 and 2017, respectively. In 2017, they also obtained accreditation as a facilitator for Strategic Selling from Summit. Earlier certifications include Achieving Service Excellence Accreditation and Consultative Selling Accreditation from FORUM GROUP in 2016, as well as an MBTI Accredited Facilitator certification from The Myers-Briggs Company in 2010. Deborah has been recognized for their academic achievements as well, being in the top 15% of the Golden Key International Honour Society Asia Pacific in 2008. Other certifications they hold include DiSC Accredited Facilitator from Integro in 2006 and Train the Trainer Accreditation from AHA (Vic) in 1992. Deborah is also a member of the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, starting in 2023.
