Aly Abdelgawad

Aly Abdelgawad is a Senior Offshore Geoscientist at Shell since January 2017, leading well delivery for a high-pressure, high-temperature well in the West Nile Delta and managing multiple key leads in operated blocks. Prior experience includes notable roles at BG Group, such as Lead Geophysicist for the Aphrodite field and contributions to the WDDM Deep potential evaluation and HPHT Oligocene discovery offshore Nile Delta. Aly also completed an MSc in Petroleum Geophysics from Imperial College London and holds a BS in Geophysics from Ain Shams University. Early career experience includes positions at Schlumberger and involvement in various geophysical projects focusing on reservoir characterization and seismic analysis.
