Malek Sughaiar has over 10 years of experience in software engineering and management roles. Malek is currently the Director of Software Engineering at Shipa, where they develop the organization's solutions strategy and manages the architecture and development teams. Previously, Malek worked as a Technical Program Manager at Shipa, where they assisted in managing company programs, new products, and features to increase revenue. Prior to that, they were a Product Manager at MarkaVIP, where they managed ERP/CRM requirements and released new features for e-commerce. Malek has also held roles as an ERP Technical Project Manager at run2sport.com and as a Technical Team Leader/Pre-Sale and Senior .Net Developer at ESKADENIA Software. Malek began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at LEAD Technologies, Inc, where they built image processing toolkits and end-user applications.
Malek Sughaiar completed their General Secondary Certificate at Secondary School in 2000. Following that, they attended Princess Sumaya University for Technology from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science. In 2009, Malek obtained the MCPD (Microsoft Certified Professional Developer) certification.
