Nicola Ward

Nicola Ward currently serves as Chair of the Shadow Board and Head of Procurement and Supplier Relationship Management at Shoosmiths, a position held since March 2023. Previously, from June 2016 to March 2023, Nicola was the Head of Procurement at Gowling WLG UK, where responsibilities included establishing a centre-led Procurement Team and implementing a comprehensive P2P process. Earlier experience includes the role of Procurement Category Manager at Pinsent Masons, where strategic sourcing and supplier management were prioritized, and Regional Purchasing Manager at Rolls-Royce, leading a team in managing substantial procurement categories. Educational qualifications include an MSc Module in Lean Supply Chain from the University of Southampton and a BA Hons in History from the University of Derby.
