Uma Shankar Rajendran serves as the Chief Operating Officer at SICAME INDIA since December 2024, contributing to the growth of a global leader in electrical distribution and transmission solutions. Previously, Uma held the position of Director of Operations at Danfoss from November 2011 to December 2024, where significant achievements included maintaining over 3500 days of zero lost time injury and driving double-digit productivity growth through various initiatives. Earlier roles at Danfoss included Senior Manager in Production, Planning & Maintenance and Supply Chain Manager, focusing on business expansion and establishing new manufacturing lines in India. Prior experience includes leadership roles in production at Samsung SDI and Arvin Meritor, overseeing significant manufacturing projects and quality management certifications. Uma holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras and an MBA in Marketing and Sales Promotion from Madurai Kamaraj University.
