Dr. Thomas Borchert

Dr. Thomas Borchert is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership roles at Siemens Healthineers, serving as the Global Head of Knowledge & Skills Enablement since July 2016. In this position, Dr. Borchert guides a team of customer service professionals to enhance knowledge and skills while promoting continuous learning and the integration of Artificial Intelligence and Digitalization. Previous roles at Siemens Healthcare include Regional Head, Education for Lab Solutions EMEA, Global Head of Education for Point of Care, and Global Head of DX Application Training. Earlier in the career, Dr. Borchert held positions at Life Technologies as an Inside Sales Representative and at the Leibniz-Institute of Vegetable and Ornamental Crops and Heidepflanzen de Winkel as a researcher during PhD studies. Dr. Borchert earned a doctorate in Plant Biotechnology from Leibniz Universität Hannover and a degree in Biotechnology from Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen.
