Aida D.

Aida D. currently serves as a Board Member for the Joint Power Authority in California and as Chief People Officer for the Sierra Club, in addition to holding a position as Teaching Faculty at the University of Pennsylvania and an author for North Atlantic Books. Previously, Aida D. founded Decolonize Design, a consulting firm focused on promoting equitable workplace practices, and worked as Director at The Early Learning Lab, where significant program growth and curriculum development took place. Aida D. also held leadership positions at Youth UpRising, Education Trust, SEIU, and AFL-CIO International Department, contributing to community mobilization, policy advocacy, and organizational development. Education credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Southern California.
