Sam Kimball

Sam Kimball is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in finance operations and accounting across non-profit organizations. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Finance Operations at Sierra Club since June 2025, Kimball previously held the role of Corporate Controller at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation from March 2023 to June 2025. Prior experience includes leadership positions at Ipas, where responsibilities ranged from Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer to Director of Finance and Accounting. Kimball's career began at KPMG US, where expertise was developed in audit management and analysis. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Accounting and a Bachelor's in Business Administration, both from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
