Akshay Matam

Akshay Matam is a seasoned data science professional with a strong background in analytics and machine learning. Currently serving as a Senior Lead Data Scientist at Sigmoid since April 2021, Akshay leads a team focusing on creating consolidated pipelines for data analysis within the manufacturing process for a pharmaceutical client and enhances prescriptive and predictive analytics capabilities in supply chain management. Previously, at BRIDGEi2i Analytics Solutions, Akshay worked as an Analytics Consultant, developing reusable NLP assets and creating REST APIs using FastAPI. At Capgemini, Akshay held multiple roles including Associate Consultant and Senior Analyst, contributing to machine learning models, named entity recognition projects, and tools for automating ticket routing through NLP and computer vision technologies. Akshay holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronic and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Surat.
