Heather F.

Heather F. has extensive work experience in the field of privacy and data protection. Heather most recently worked at Signifyd as the Head of Privacy and Product Counsel. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Privacy Officer at BigID, where they were responsible for building and managing the company's global privacy compliance program. Before BigID, Heather worked at Macy's as the Director of Privacy & Data Risk, where they developed compliance requirements for regulations such as GDPR and CCPA. Heather also has experience working at American Express, Online Trust Alliance, and Interactive Integrity, where they held various roles related to privacy and policy. Heather's early experience includes roles at The Future of Privacy Forum and Brooklyn Law Incubator Policy Clinic, where they worked on projects related to privacy policies and copyright curriculum development.

Heather F. obtained their Juris Doctor degree with a Certificate in IP, Media and Information Law from Brooklyn Law School. Heather attended the school from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2009, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Individualized Study at New York University.

Heather F. has also obtained several additional certifications. In July 2013, they obtained their Law License, which is active, from the New York State Bar Association. In November 2012, they obtained another active Law License from the New Jersey State Bar Association. Additionally, in March 2013, they obtained the Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals. Finally, in May 2022, they completed their Meditation & Pranayama Teacher Training from the Yoga Alliance.
