Randy Lauer

Randy Lauer has extensive work experience in the financial industry, with a focus on sales, business development, and investments. Randy is currently serving as the Managing Director and Head of Institutional Sales and Business Development at Academy Securities since January 2022. Prior to that, Randy held leadership positions at Silent Falcon UAS Technologies as a Director starting in December 2021, and at HPS Investment Partners, LLC as an Independent Trustee for the HPS Corporate Lending Fund (HLEND) starting in August 2021. Randy's earlier experience includes a long tenure at Citi as a Managing Director from 1998 to 2021, and as a Vice President at Salomon Brothers from 1988 to 1998. Before their career in finance, Randy served in the United States Marine Corps as an Officer from 1981 to 1989.

Randy Lauer holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Randy also earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Politics from Lake Forest College. In addition to their formal education, Randy has completed the High-Impact Selling: A Toolkit for Success program at Kellogg Executive Education. Randy has obtained several certifications from FINRA, including Series 24 - General Securities Principal, Series 3 - National Commodities Futures, Series 53 - Municipal Securities Principal, Series 63 - Uniform Securities Agent State Law, and Series 7 - General Securities Representative. The exact dates of completion for both their education and certifications are not provided.
