Valerie Saur has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Valerie began their career in the United States Air Force in 1988 as a Boom Operator, where they worked until 1995. From 2000 to 2013, Valerie served as an A-10 Pilot in the USAF Reserve, specifically with the 303d Fighter Squadron. In 2018, Valerie started their own business called KC Aerial Images and 3D Virtual Tours, where they served as the Owner until 2022. Valerie also worked at Silent Falcon UAS Technologies, first as the VP of Flight Operations from March 2020 to November 2021, and then as the Vice President of Operations starting in October 2020.
Valerie Saur earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering Technology from Arizona State University, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Following this, they pursued their Master's degree in Aviation Safety at the University of Central Missouri, from 2001 to 2003.
