Sime Darby
Tan Sri Samsudin Osman, a Malaysian, is the Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Sime Darby Berhad. He was appointed to the Board on 19 December 2008 and as the Chairman of the Board on 16 July 2020.
Tan Sri Samsudin was the Chairman of Employees Provident and EPF Investment Panel from 2007 to 2020, Universiti Utara Malaysia from 2006 to 2016, National Unity Consultative Council from 2013 to 2015, the President of Perbadanan Putrajaya from 2004 to July 2012, and Chief Secretary to the Malaysian Government from 2001 to 2006. He served as the Secretary-General for two ministries, the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (1994) and the Ministry of Home Affairs (1996).
Tan Sri Samsudin is currently the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mahathir Science Award Foundation and Pro-Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. Tan Sri Samsudin was a member of the Special Independent Emergency Committee 2021 from February 2021 to August 2021.

Its Plantation segment includes the production of crude palm oil, palm kernel, rubber, sugar cane, cattle products, as well as the refining of palm oil. Its Property segment comprises the development of residential, commercial and industrial properties, together with the management and provision of recreational facilities. Its Energy & Utilities segment includes the provision of engineering services, the management of port facilities and the treatment and distribution of treated water.
