Ricardo Ashitaka has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Ricardo began their career in 1998 as a Professional Translator/Interpreter for ASHITAKA Services Ltd. Ricardo then worked as a Network Strategies Developer for Fiat Auto SpA, Italy and Manufacturing Engineer for IVECO France. In 2000, they moved to CNH UK where they worked as a Product Cost Manager and Product Manager. In 2010, they joined PCC - Psychology of Culture Change as a Delivery Director. From 2011 to 2014, they were the Delivery Manager for TradingPartners. Ricardo then moved to MM4 - part of CSC/Xchanging, where they served as a Project Manager. In 2016, they joined Occumen as a Procurement Specialist and in 2017, they became the Sourcing Lead for Simfoni. Throughout their career, Ricardo has gained experience in a variety of industries, from engineering and manufacturing to medical technology, arts and cinema, tourism, conservation, agriculture, gastronomy and oenology.

Ricardo Ashitaka has a diverse educational background. In 1991, they completed a B.Sc in Aerospace Mechanical Engineering from the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA) in Brazil, earning a first class degree. From 1996 to 1996, they attended the Schlumberger Training Program in Indonesia TC and Venezuela LAM HQ for Wireline Services. From 1998 to 2003, they attended FIAT Grad.De EEIG in the UK and Italy for Business Management. In 2009, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt in Processes' variances reduction and continuous improvement in the UK and a Prince 2 Practitioner in Project Management in the UK. Ricardo also holds a City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 in Occupational Health & Safety in the UK.
