Jiannan Wang

Jiannan Wang is an Associate Professor at Simon Fraser University, having served since January 2016. In addition to this role, Jiannan Wang is the Director of the Professional Master’s Programs in Big Data, Cybersecurity, and Visual Computing. Previously, Jiannan Wang held the position of Postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Berkeley from August 2013 to January 2016. Academic training includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Tsinghua University, where Jiannan Wang studied from 2008 to 2013, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Harbin Institute of Technology, completed in 2008. During the doctoral studies, Jiannan Wang was also a Visiting Scholar at UC Berkeley and The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
