Orissa Meyrink

Orissa Meyrink currently serves as the Program Manager for Leadership and Community Building Programs at Simon Fraser University since June 2023. Previously, Orissa held the position of Youth Services Coordinator at Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House from March 2021 to June 2023. Earlier experience includes work as a Granville Street Team Ambassador for Good Night Out Vancouver, focusing on safety interventions for women and the LGBT community, and serving as Youth Education Coordinator at YWCA Metro Vancouver, where responsibilities encompassed program delivery and volunteer management. Additionally, Orissa worked as an Intake and Client Care Worker at Chrysalis Society, providing resources and support related to addiction and mental health. Orissa began the professional journey as a Community Leader at the University of Victoria, supporting first-year students in residence. Orissa earned a Bachelor's degree in Ethnic, Cultural Minority, Gender, and Group Studies from the University of Victoria in 2016.
