Mia R.

Mia R. has a diverse background in communications and editorial work, currently serving as an Assistant Editor at Gallery Books, Simon & Schuster since February 2022. Prior experience includes multiple roles within the U.S. House of Representatives from November 2019 to February 2022, culminating as Interim Communications Director, as well as positions such as Legislative Assistant and Press Assistant. Mia R. also interned in the United States Senate and worked as a Programs Intern at Counterpart International, providing crucial programmatic support for the Africa Portfolio. Educationally, Mia R. holds a Master of Arts in International Studies and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Studies and Anthropology from Indiana University Bloomington.
