Paul Keogh has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Paul started their career at ASB Bank in 2001 where they held various roles, including Transition Manager and Chief Manager Strategy & Operations - Rural. Keogh then joined Westpac New Zealand Limited in 2010 and served as an Area Manager Business Banking, Senior Business Performance & Capability Manager, Regional Business Performance Manager, and Head of Sales Force Effectiveness & Capability, Business Banking. After their tenure at Westpac, they joined ASB Bank again in 2015 as the Head of Business Transformation - Business Banking. In this role, Keogh was responsible for divisional productivity targets and led process transformation and continuous improvement initiatives. Paul also had a secondment to transform the onboarding experience for complex customers. In 2020, Keogh joined Kiwibank as the General Manager Strategic Transformation, overseeing the delivery of the bank's multi-year organizational transformation and ensuring alignment with the integrated roadmap. Currently, Keogh is working as a Strategic Account Director (NZ) at Simple KYC.

Paul Keogh completed their Bachelor of Management Studies degree in Accounting and Finance at The University of Waikato from 1993 to 1996. Paul then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The University of Auckland, studying from 2005 to 2007.
