Ameer Ali currently serves as Audit Team Lead Executive in the Infection Prevention & Epidemiology Department at Singapore General Hospital since June 2023, leading the Infection Control Audit Program and analyzing data related to hand hygiene compliance. Previously, Ameer held the position of Provost Officer and Senior Staff Sergeant at the Singapore Police Force since 2012, where responsibilities included investigating disciplinary cases and formulating development policies. Ameer has extensive experience in the medical laboratory field, having worked as a Medical Laboratory Technologist at various hospitals, including Innoquest Diagnostics and Sengkang General Hospital, where skills in various haematology and blood banking tests were developed. Ameer holds a Bachelor Honours degree in Biological Sciences from Nanyang Technological University Singapore and has participated in a student program in Medicine at The University of British Columbia.
