Xuezhi Bi currently serves as a Principal Investigator at the Bezos Centre for Sustainable Protein at the National University of Singapore since its launch in September 2024, and as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Singapore Institute of Technology and Duke-NUS Medical School. With extensive experience at A*STAR Bioprocessing Technology Institute since 2013, Xuezhi Bi has held positions as Senior Principal Scientist I and Group Leader, focusing on protein analytics and proteomics, particularly in the characterization of biotherapeutics. Previous roles include Facility Manager for Mass Spectrometry at A*STAR and a Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore, where groundbreaking work on colorectal cancer biomarkers was conducted. Xuezhi Bi began a career as a Project Scientist at the International Rice Research Institute, contributing to molecular tools for rice breeding. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. in Plant Proteomics and Molecular Genetics from Wuhan University.
