Seongeun (Veronica) Kim is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in global business development and policy making. Currently working at SK ecoplant since March 2021, Veronica has led global initiatives, including a significant equity acquisition deal in the e-waste sector. Prior roles include serving as Deputy Director at the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family in the Korean Government, where responsibilities encompassed policy formulation and international cooperation on gender-based violence issues. Veronica has also held managerial positions at Samsung SDI, OCI, and Samsung Corning Precision Glass, focusing on venture investments, business development in energy storage systems, and strategic planning. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University.
