Jaan Leis

Jaan Leis has extensive experience in research and project management, currently serving as a senior research scientist at Skeleton Technologies Ltd. since 2010, focusing on nanostructured and nanoporous carbon materials for energy storage applications and overseeing R&D projects. Concurrently, Jaan holds a position as a senior scientist at the University of Tartu since 2002, where research encompasses organic synthesis and QSAR/QSPR studies of molecules and nanomaterials. Jaan previously worked as a project manager at Tartu Technologies Ltd. from 2003 to 2008. Educational credentials include a PhD in Theoretical and Computer Chemistry and an MSc in Chemistry, both from the University of Tartu, as well as a Diploma in Chemistry from the same institution.
