John Cambronero

John Cambronero has extensive experience in technical operations and broadcast engineering, currently serving as the Head of Technical Operations at Australian News Channel (Sky News) since January 2017. Prior to this role, John held the position of Deputy Engineering Manager at Sky News from November 2004 to December 2016, focusing on overseeing broadcast and IT infrastructure. John began a career in the industry as a Broadcast Systems Engineer, responsible for managing broadcast facilities, remote site systems, and the development of IT infrastructures. Earlier experience includes working as a Broadband Technician from January 2003 to October 2004, where John was a sub-contractor to Telstra and Foxtel, specializing in the installation of PAY TV and broadband services.
