Chris Murdie

Chris Murdie currently serves as the Purchasing and Supply Chain Lead at Slate Auto and simultaneously holds the position of Head of Supply for Propulsion and Electrical at Re:Build Manufacturing, both roles starting in May 2023. Prior to these positions, Chris Murdie accrued extensive experience at Ford Motor Company from October 1990 to May 2023, culminating in the role of Global Electrified Systems Supply Chain Lead, where responsibilities included overseeing electrified powertrain and fuel cell commodities. Earlier roles at Ford encompassed various managerial and purchasing positions related to chassis, transmission, and engine commodities, contributing to the development of strategies for the electrified vehicle portfolio. Chris Murdie holds an MBA in Finance and Logistics and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Logistics, both from Wayne State University.
