Jamilah Lemieux

Jamilah Lemieux is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in journalism and communications. Currently, Jamilah serves as a podcast host for 'Mom and Dad Are Fighting' and pens a weekly advice column for 'Care and Feeding' at Slate Magazine, where employment commenced in June 2019. Prior to that role, Jamilah held various positions including Communications Strategist at Girls for Gender Equity, Communications and Engagement Advisor for Cynthia for New York, and Vice President of News and Men's Programming at Interactive One. Jamilah's editorial experience is highlighted by a Senior Editor role at Ebony Magazine, where responsibilities included content development and strategic editorial planning. With contributions across several notable platforms including Essence Magazine, Madame Noire, and The Loop, Jamilah has focused on themes of race, gender, and popular culture. Jamilah graduated with a BFA in Theatre Arts-Acting from Howard University in 2007.
