Michael Bruin

Michael Bruin is an experienced professional in the oil and gas industry with an extensive career at SLB spanning from 1987 to the present. Currently serving as General Manager since November 1998, Michael leads a team of approximately 22 staff, overseeing various functions including e-commerce flows, software purchasing, knowledge distribution, and intellectual property protection. Michael's tenure at SLB also includes progression from trainee Field Engineer to Country Manager Well Construction, with assignments in countries such as Libya, the UK, Russia, Syria, Oman, Tunisia, and The Netherlands. Additionally, Michael began a career in the drilling sector as a Trainee Assistant Driller at Neddrill. Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Oil and Gas Technology from Hogere Zeevaart School.
