Amanda Wescott

Amanda Wescott is a seasoned Senior Geologist with extensive experience in development, geosteering, reservoir characterization, and exploration within the Permian Basin and Gulf Coast Basin, currently employed at SM Energy Company since August 2022. Prior roles include Geologist at Ovintiv from October 2017 to June 2020 and various internships in geology, including positions at Encana Corporation and QEP Resources. Amanda holds a Master's Degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from the Colorado School of Mines and a Bachelor's Degree in Geology and Studio Art from Bates College. Additionally, experience includes a research assistantship within the Bakken Consortium and teaching assistance for introductory geology courses at Bates College.
