Daniel E. Hodge

Daniel E. Hodge, PE, is a seasoned petroleum engineer with extensive experience in reservoir engineering. Currently serving as a Sr. Reservoir Engineer at SM Energy Company since October 2017, Daniel has led a team in developing a machine learning tool to enhance frac design and optimize asset NPV. Prior to this role, Daniel was a Senior Reservoir/Production Engineer at Noble Energy, overseeing key project milestones in the Integrated Field Development Plan. Daniel began his career at BP, focusing on reservoir management and simulation, notably developing a long-term depletion strategy for Prudhoe Bay. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University.
