Michael F. Peintinger, PhD, is a seasoned professional in the field of theoretical chemistry and management, currently serving as the Managing Director for the Americas at Smart Steel Technologies since September 2021, overseeing operations in North and South America. Prior experience includes roles as General Manager of SMS Digital at SMS group USA, and Managing Director of QuinLogic North America, where strategic growth and alignment with the parent company's digital division were prioritized. Previous positions include Technical Sales Manager and Senior Customer Consultant at QuinLogic, and postdoctoral research at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion. Michael earned a Ph.D. in Theoretical Chemistry from the University of Bonn, where foundational education in the discipline began with a Master’s Degree in Theoretical Chemistry and an Abitur focusing on Chemistry and English.
