Luís Perestrelo

Luís Perestrelo has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as a Firmware Engineer at Smartex.ai since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto as a Teaching Assistant. In this role, they taught computer networking and wireless communication laboratory classes, evaluated assignments and lab reports, and graded programming assignments for first-year students. Luís also occasionally held doubt clearing sessions. At AFCEA Portugal, Luís served as the Vice-President of the AFCEA Porto Student Club from August 2014 to August 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Math and Physics Lab teaching assistant at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, providing assistance to students in calculus, algebra, and physics.

Luís Perestrelo earned a Master's Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto from 2011 to 2016. Luís also pursued further studies and obtained another Master's degree in the same field from the Technical University of Munich from 2014 to 2015.
