Cameron Taylor

Cameron Taylor is a highly experienced Principal Firmware Engineer with over 23 years in the engineering field, currently employed at SMART Technologies since May 2010, specializing in the research and design of interactive technologies such as whiteboards and projectors. Prior to this, Cameron served as a Senior System Engineer at Vecima Networks and WaveRider Communications, focusing on broadband wireless data networking modems for rural access, where responsibilities included system architecture, protocol development, and real-time embedded software. Earlier career experience includes a role as a DSP Engineer at Harris Corporation, involved in the design and testing of DSP algorithms for cellular base stations. Cameron holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary.
