Doris Cheng

Doris Cheng, PE, LEED AP, is an experienced Electrical Engineer currently serving as Electrical Engineer III and Associate at SmithGroup since June 2016. In this role, Doris prepares and documents designs for electrical power, lighting, and special systems throughout various project phases, while also performing critical calculations. Previous positions include Electrical Engineer II and I, and an Undergraduate Mathematics Grader at Penn State University. Doris also gained valuable experience as a Lighting Design Intern at Tillotson Design Associates and GE Lighting Solutions, as well as a Product Engineering Intern at Crayola. Educational qualifications include a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering from Penn State University, with a focus on Lighting/Electrical, and an Architectural Studies Minor from Pantheon Institute in Rome.
