Brian Mitchell has over ten years of work experience in finance and accounting. Brian began their career as a GL Accountant at Tramec in 2002, where they handled accounts payable and receivable processing, debt collection tasks, and other accounting functions. In 2004, they joined DuPont Nutrition & Health as a Cost Accountant, responsible for maintaining standard costs in the ERP system, analyzing purchasing and production variances, and providing management with relevant information and reports. Since 2009, Brian has been working at Smiths Connectors, where they currently hold the position of Director of Finance for Smiths Connectors Americas. In this role, they oversee monthly and annual cash flow management to meet corporate targets, manages a multinational staff with various reporting entities, and handles executive site responsibilities for the local facility.
Brian Mitchell completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Finance from Pittsburg State University between 2000 and 2002. Brian then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management from the same university from 2002 to 2004.
