Felix Nauwelaerts is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the design and project management of high voltage substations. Currently serving as Project Engineer for the Electrical Package at Smulders since April 2020, Felix previously held the position of Mechanical Project Engineer at CG Holdings Belgium NV from August 2008 to February 2020, where responsibilities included the mechanical design and realization of over 25 turnkey projects for conventional, mobile, and modular substations up to 400kV. Earlier experience includes roles as a Design Engineer for high voltage substations and railway protection and signaling at ARCADIS Belgium from 2006 to 2008, as well as an apprenticeship at Affilips NV. Felix holds a Master’s Degree in Electro Mechanical Engineering from Groep T Technische Hogeschool Leuven and a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, along with certification as a Nace CIP level 1 coating inspector.
