Shannon McCarty has a diverse work experience in the event and project coordination field. Shannon started their career as an Event Production Intern at The Visionary Group, where they assisted with various tasks related to event production, design, and execution. Shannon then worked as a Customer Experience Supervisor and later as a Human Resources staff member at Insomniac Events, where they were responsible for overseeing the Lost and Found operations and managing staff schedules. Shannon also gained experience as a Freelance Event Producer at Microsoft, where they worked on various event projects. Shannon further expanded their skills as a Festival Security Administrator at Goldenvoice.

More recently, Shannon worked as an Event Manager at Simplicity Consulting, where they coordinated and communicated with regional teams and leaders for asset launches. Shannon also managed relationships with trusted vendors and supported soft launches in each region. Shannon later transitioned to the role of Site Coordinator at Redrock Entertainment, where they managed onsite operations, tracked timesheets, and handled runner requests.
