Ray Ramirez

Ray Ramirez, MBA, CFA, currently serves as the Senior Strategic Finance Manager for Marketing at SoFi since April 2024. Prior to that, Ramirez held the position of Director of Strategy & Finance at Assurance IQ from February 2023 to April 2024, where responsibilities included competitive analysis, market research in health and life insurance, and establishing a Partnerships team to significantly reduce customer acquisition costs. Previous experience at Zillow as Director of Business Strategy & Operations involved executing cross-sell strategies and developing a business case for a customer loyalty program. Earlier roles at Assurance IQ and Prudential Financial included leadership in finance and strategy for a direct-to-consumer insurtech brokerage and management of strategic initiatives that led to innovative financial solutions and substantial annual sales targets. Ramirez holds an MBA from the UW Foster School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Rutgers University.
