Kimmo Koivisto

Kimmo Koivisto is a seasoned professional in Information Management with extensive experience in advisory roles. Since February 2014, Kimmo has served as a Senior Advisor at Sofigate, focusing on helping clients enhance business opportunities, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness through leadership in Information Management. Prior to this, Kimmo held the position of CIO at Rent a CIO, where responsibilities included the provision of Information Management as a service. Earlier roles included serving as the Chief Security Officer at Cybercom, overseeing security policies and audits, and acting as CIO during the merger of Cybercom Plenware, where Kimmo managed IT strategy and teams across multiple countries. Kimmo has also contributed at various levels in the Defence Forces of Finland and several entrepreneurial ventures in technology and multimedia applications. Kimmo holds a Master's Degree in Industrial Management from Tampere University of Technology.
