Itaru Nagao

Itaru Nagao is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in strategic leadership and investment management. Currently serving as Managing Director at SoftBank Group Corp. since April 2019, Itaru Nagao oversees the CEO Office and facilitates the Group's global investment strategy as Chief of Staff to the Chief Strategy Officer. Prior to joining SoftBank, Itaru Nagao was a Partner at YCP Group, where responsibilities included leading the Food & Beverage arm across multiple countries. Itaru Nagao also held the position of CEO for Southeast Asia at Mister Minit, achieving significant sales growth and successful business turnaround. Earlier career experiences include roles at Goldman Sachs, where responsibilities included managing fixed income sales for Japanese institutional clients and conducting due diligence on distressed assets. Itaru Nagao holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Tokyo.
