Donna Benefield is a Senior Vice President at NRG leading enterprise initiatives, supply chain and billing operations across Home and Business, overseeing the Program Office, and defining integration strategies for NRG’s mergers & acquisitions. Previously, Donna served as the Senior Vice President of Information Technology. Donna has more than thirty years of experience in the energy and technology industries.
Prior to NRG, Donna was a consultant for Maryville Technologies and Accenture. This technology and project experience enables Donna to deliver integrated solutions and lead teams through change.
Donna graduated from the Milwaukee School of Engineering with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Computer Science, and obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Arizona. She also received a Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate in 2007.
Donna serves as a Board Member for the Gulf Coast Power Association. She is also an active member of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, as well as a prior committee member. For ten years, she led a GSSJC Girl Scout troop and served on the Houston Chapter of the Girl Scout Community leadership committee.
