Yaniv Damatov

Yaniv Damatov is a seasoned professional in chemical engineering and process development, with extensive experience in the renewable energy and battery industries. Currently serving as a Global Process Engineer at SolarEdge Technologies since October 2021, Yaniv focuses on manufacturing process engineering for solar products and specializes in design for manufacturing. Previous roles include Energy Storage, Cell R&D Scale-up and Process Development Team Leader, where Yaniv led the development and scaling of Li-ion battery processes. Prior experience includes managing a Li-ion battery pilot line at 3DBattery, establishing automated ink production plants at Landa Digital Printing, and leading process development at StoreDot. Yaniv's background encompasses multidisciplinary expertise in electro-optics and fuel cell development, supported by a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
