Liliana Palmegiani has over 30 years of work experience in project controls, construction management, and site engineering. Liliana began their career in 1987 as a Construction Manager and Site Engineer for Several Contractors & Clients in Venezuela, where they worked until 2003.
In 2006, Liliana joined Fluor Canada as a Project Controls - Home Office Cost Engineer. Liliana later became a Project Controls Team Lead, overseeing projects such as Freeport-McMoran Copper & Gold in Morenci, Arizona, and Minera Alumbrera Ltd in Catamarca, Argentina. Their responsibilities included managing project timelines, budgets, and procurement activities.
Since 2014, Liliana has been working at Solaris MCI. Initially, they held the role of Project Controls Lead and was later promoted to Project Controls, Department Head. In these roles, they continued to demonstrate their expertise in project controls, overseeing the successful execution of various projects.
Throughout their career, Liliana Palmegiani has displayed their ability to effectively manage projects, budgets, and timelines, making their a valuable asset in the field of project controls.
Liliana Palmegiani has a Master in Business Administration (MBA) degree from UBA in Maracay, Venezuela, which they completed from 1991 to 1993. Liliana also holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from IUPFAN (now UNEFA) in Maracay, Venezuela, which they obtained from 1982 to 1986. Furthermore, in 2005, Liliana attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology to study Construction Projects Control. Additionally, from 2006 to 2013, they completed Project Controls/Management Training Courses at the Fluor Canada Training Programs in Vancouver, BC.

As well, Solaris is a consortium member of the Natural Gas Futures (NGF) Group under the University of British Columbia's Clean Energy Research Centre, promoting sustainable solutions for the responsible use of natural gas.
