Amit Sahai is the current President of Sales & Marketing Tiles Division at Somany Ceramics. Prior to this, they were Sr. VP of Sales & Marketing at the same company from February 2011 to October 2016. In this role, they were responsible for the complete sales infrastructure, top line and P&L for the vitrified floor tiles business across India. Amit also oversaw the marketing efforts for the company's 'Kadi' plant, including joint venture units/vendors at Morbi (Gujarat) for tile procurement.
From April 2006 to March 2008, Amit Sahai was Regional Sales Manager at Arvind Lifestyle Brands Limited. Amit then took on a similar role at IFB Industries Ltd from September 2003 to April 2006. In April 2008, they became DGM Sales at Berger Paints India and held this position until February 2011.
Amit Sahai has a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Lucknow, a PGDBA from the Lucknow School of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from the University of Lucknow. Amit also has a certification from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad in the Program on Enhancing Sales Force Performance.
They are on a team with Mayank Sharma - SVP, Bathware Division, Saikat Mukhopadhyay - CFO. Their manager is Abhishek Somany, Managing Director.
