Alicia Palmer

Alicia is responsible for leading Somatus’corporate, strategic, and tactical legal initiatives. Alicia brings to Somatus 25 years of legal experience in the health care industry. Most recently, she served as the General Counsel for Signify Health and Advance Health where she and her team provided legal services for a fast growing technology enabled health care company. Before that she was Aetna’s VP and Chief Medicare Counsel, where she led a team of attorneys and legal professionals that were responsible for providing legal counsel to all of Aetna’s Medicare business.

In addition to her significant Medicare Advantage experience, Alicia has counseled clients throughout her twenty five years of legal practice on various government programs, managed care programs and requirements, pharmacy and pharmaceutical business, and federal and state healthcare laws. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in human resource management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law.
