Nikelle Riggs is an experienced librarian and archivist currently working at Sonoma County Library since October 2022. In addition, Nikelle serves as a Library Associate I Extra Help at Napa City-County Library since December 2021. Previous positions include Librarian at San Francisco Public Library, Research Librarian at Napa County Historical Society, and Metadata Intern at the Law Library of Congress. Early career roles involved internships at Maritime Museum of San Diego and Mingei International Museum, along with positions as Archives Assistant and Database Administrator. Nikelle holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Syracuse University, a Bachelor's degree in History from Hunter College, an Associate's degree in History from Santa Barbara City College, and a Certificate in Cosmetology from Vintage Academy of Hair Design.
