Ryan Pohlman

Ryan Pohlman currently serves as a Board Member for Corgear, One-Blue, and Convida Wireless, and has held the position of Senior Director of Intellectual Property at Sony Corporation of America since October 2014. In this role, Ryan Pohlman manages and advises on third-party intellectual property issues, with a focus on patents, including patent litigation, licensing, and corporate transaction diligence, while supporting various Sony US businesses. Prior experience includes serving as a Partner and Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, and as an Associate at K&L Gates. Ryan Pohlman began a legal career with a Legal Externship at the United States Attorney's Office and a Legal Internship at DLA Piper. Education includes a Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Notre Dame.
